Summary

From 2007 to 2012, the yearly Golden Shoe (Dutch: Gouden Schoen) was awarded to the best player of the Eredivisie Vrouwen. "Vrouw & Voetbal" magazine started the prizes in 2007. The winner received a golden shoe-shaped trophy. In the 2009–10 season, the awards process was taken over by "Vrouwenvoetbal Nederland," which added an award for the best goalkeeper. In the 2010–11 season, an award for the most talented player was created.[83]
