♣ UNFP Awards
The Trophées UNFP du football are a number of awards given annually by the Union Nationale des Footballeurs Professionnels (UNFP) to players playing in France's Ligue 1, Ligue 2, and Division 1 Féminine, as well as to managers and referees. The most prestigious award is the Ligue 1 Player of the Year. Created in 1988 under the name Oscars du football, they were renamed in 2004 after a complaint by the Academy Awards committee. The ceremony has been broadcast live on Canal+ since 1994.
Ligue 1 Player of the Year
The UNFP Ligue 1 Player of the Year is an official award given by the Union Nationale des Footballeurs Professionnels (UNFP) to the Ligue 1 player whose performances are considered to be the best of the season. The award has been presented since the 1993–94 season and the first winner of the award was Paris Saint-Germain winger David Ginola. The current holder and record winner is Kylian Mbappé, who won the award for his performances throughout the 2023–24 campaign for Paris Saint-Germain, his fifth consecutive award.
Winners
This award has been presented 29 times as of 2023, with all winners being different aside from Pauleta who was the first two-time winner in 2001–02 and 2002–03, as well as the only other multiple-time winners Eden Hazard (in 2010–11 and 2011–12), Zlatan Ibrahimović (2012–13, 2013–14 and 2015–16) and Kylian Mbappé (a record five consecutive awards in 2018–19, 2020–21, 2021–22, 2022–23, and 2023–24).

Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year
The UNFP Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year is an official award given by the Union Nationale des Footballeurs Professionnels (UNFP) to a player aged 23 years or under at the start of the season whose performances are considered to be the best in Ligue 1, France's top professional football league. The inaugural award was handed to midfielder Zinedine Zidane of Bordeaux, following the 1993–94 Division 1 season. It has been awarded ever since its inception, with the exception of the 2019−20 season, where the competition was abruptly cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The award has been given to 27 different players over the course of 30 seasons, with only Eden Hazard and Kylian Mbappé winning the award on more than one occasion. Of these players, only Mbappé has won the award three times. Hazard (Belgium), Marco Verratti (Italy), Younès Belhanda (Morocco), and Nuno Mendes (Portugal) are the only recipients of the award who represent a nation other than France.
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaïre-Emery is the most recent winner of the award, which was awarded to him for his performances in the 2023–24 Ligue 1 season.
